The Hardest Thing to be Found

What’s the thing in the world that is the hardest to be found? Treasure in the deepest part of ocean? An invention that can heal all kinds of disease? Possibility of life outside Earth?

Tell me, what’s the hardest to be found? And the question is, will it be worth it? Will the cost, the time, the money, the skills required, will all these sacrifices be equal with the thing being sought after?

What if I tell you that there’s something that has more worth than any of these things? Because this thing has power beyond comprehension, has unlimited resources because this thing created everything that you can see, the universe, all the humans, all the wonders of this world, this thing has the capability to make things vanish and make things appear in a snap, so the worth of the thing that is the hardest to be found is not even worth comparing to this thing.

What if I tell you that this thing is actually a person?

GOD.

The only one.

And He’s actually a lot more possible to be found. Because simply, He wants to be.

By you.

“Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near;
Isaiah 55:6

But right now what are you seeking? Will that truly satisfy? Is that really what you are supposed to be looking for? Or are you meant to looking for something else?

This world will offer us a lot of distractions, a lot of things to seek after that promises a lot but in the end will only disappoint.

So what should we really be looking for, that will be completely worthwhile?

God Himself.

What amazes me the most is that God is a supernatural being, His prowess is indescribable, it’s inconceivable by human mind, He is that great and awesome, He is so big that we are like dust or a piece of sand if compared to Him, and YET, He made Himself possible to be found by unworthy humans.

“But from there you will seek the LORD your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Deuteronomy 4:29

Just the thought of it is utterly mind-blowing.

But we can only find Him if we seek him not half-heartedly but with all our heart and soul.

What’s more is that God is looking for people who seek after Him.

“The LORD looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God.”
Psalm 14:2

One of the main purposes of mankind is to seek his Creator. Because only in the Creator will man find the meaning of life. And seeking God brings countless blessings, joy, contentment, love, happiness, purpose and so much more.

“The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.”
Psalms 34:10

That’s why all our efforts should be focused on seeking God every single day of our lives because only through that will make our existence truly worth it, more precious than the hardest thing to be found.

One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple.
Psalm 27:4
